Many preformances utilise a varity of movements and working with very minimal materials during each action. By using the body as an object it is used to investigate creation and extraction and voiding the artist's presence.  There is often a battle, interaction or power struggle with the materials often pushing the body to the limits of it's range of movements and stamina. Preformaces often loop, have rounded movements in a varying tempo of movements and play with the curiosity of viewers. Action is built up to a fleeting climax and distroyed or dismantled again. Some require the action of the viewer, to move, lnvesigate or simply wait.
